I’m Dr. Felicia Păduraru, a passionate dental implantologist, laser expert, and dedicated trainer.
My enthusiasm for life, people, and nature fuels my commitment to dentistry, a profession that allows me to express my talent and make a meaningful impact on my patients’ lives.
With over 11 years of hands-on experience, I have transformed the smiles of more than 2,500 patients and successfully completed over 1,750 arches using cutting-edge laser-assisted dental implants. I specialize in complex periodontal (gum) diseases, having effectively treated more than 1,380 such instances, and I pride myself on achieving outstanding results.
My educational journey began at the esteemed Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest, where I earned my degree in Dental Medicine. Later, I obtained my diploma in Implantology and further pursued a Master’s degree in Oral Implantology at the Guillermo Marconi University in Rome, Italy. My quest for excellence didn’t stop there—I completed a second Master’s degree in Implantology through the accredited program of the gIDE Institute at Loma Linda University in Los Angeles, USA.
To effectively share the knowledge I have acquired with my dental colleagues, I became an accredited trainer recognized by the Ministry of Labor and Social Solidarity.
Given that 8 out of 10 Romanians experience some form of periodontal (gum) disease, I chose to explore this topic further and completed a Masterclass in periodontal surgery, guided by esteemed experts in the field of global dentistry.
Recognizing that medical education is a continuous journey essential for providing effective and up-to-date treatments, I make it a priority to attend annual courses on current topics related to implantology and laser technology in both specialized and general dentistry, including the Sky Fast & Fixed system.
I am also a speaker at the annual Lite Touch Conference, where I share my expertise on various applications of the Lite Touch Er. Yag Laser in daily dentistry. My presentations encompass a range of topics such as clinical courses on Er. Yag lasers, principles and practical applications in dentistry, and innovative approaches to surgery, implantology, and periodontology, so forth and so on.

Types of Dental Crowns Based on the Material Used:
1 Metal-Ceramic Crown This type of crown has a metal interior, which covers the tooth completely, while the outer layer is made of ceramic. Metal-ceramic crowns are durable and extremely solid, but the metal framework can cause gum retraction, which may make the metal color visible between the gum and the white ceramic part. For this reason, metal-ceramic crowns are recommended in limited cases.
2 Zirconia Ceramic Crown or Full Zirconia Crown This crown is made of a zirconia structure with a ceramic outer layer. Zirconia is very strong and durable, providing exceptional longevity. It is hypoallergenic, perfectly biocompatible, and offers an excellent aesthetic appearance. Zirconia is not transparent, and its opacity can mask certain discolorations of natural teeth. Zirconia crowns do not cause allergic reactions as zirconium is biocompatible and integrates well with the human body.
3 Full Ceramic Crown This type of crown is made entirely of ceramic, both inside and out. Unlike metal-ceramic crowns, there is no visible line between the gum and the crown. Full ceramic crowns are fine, smooth, semi-transparent, and translucent, perfectly mimicking the form, color, and size of natural teeth. They are ideal for replacing front teeth and more. These crowns do not irritate the gums or cause allergic reactions, as they are highly biocompatible with the human body. The most well-known name for this type of ceramic is Emax.
4 Composite Dental Crown Composite crowns are used temporarily as they provide a satisfactory aesthetic effect for a limited time. They change color over time due to pigment absorption. The only advantage of composite crowns is that they offer comfort in terms of aesthetics, chewing, and speaking until permanent crowns are placed.
