1. Laser-Assisted Dental Implant
Do you desire a dental implant made with state-of-the-art technology by experienced specialists in the field? We, at Deos Dental, base our ideology on the Hippocratic Oath and the health of our patients is a sacred obligation, that is why saving our patients’ teeth is our top priority, and we spare no effort in achieving this goal.
However, there comes a time when, for various reasons, we may lose one or more teeth and then we start thinking about a solution to restore our smile.
Dentists recommend that the decision to restore your teeth be made as quickly as possible, as each day of delay may adversely affect your teeth and your overall health. Scientific evidence shows that the health of your teeth is linked to the proper functioning of the other organs in the body.
In the case of an extraction, it is good to know that a dental implant can be inserted during the same session as the extraction, so that the neighbouring teeth do not shift, and the healing of the spot is optimized. Essentially, two procedures are performed in one, with minimal discomfort for the patient.
We have all heard various things about dental implants, but here are three lesser-known facts about implants that you should learn from our specialist doctors:
- A dental implant can be inserted in the same session as the extraction of the compromised tooth.
- The common belief is that implants are made only of titanium, but they can also be made of titanium, titanium with zirconia and even zirconia
- Dental implants can be inserted using dental lasers for greater comfort and better osseointegration.

Please meet Dr. Felicia Păduraru
Hello!
I’m Dr. Felicia Păduraru, a passionate dental implantologist, laser expert, and dedicated trainer.
My enthusiasm for life, people, and nature fuels my commitment to dentistry, a profession that allows me to express my talent and make a meaningful impact on my patients’ lives.
With over 11 years of hands-on experience, I have transformed the smiles of more than 2,500 patients and successfully completed over 1,750 arches using cutting-edge laser-assisted dental implants. I specialize in complex periodontal (gum) diseases, having effectively treated more than 1,380 such instances, and I pride myself on achieving outstanding results.
My educational journey began at the esteemed Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest, where I earned my degree in Dental Medicine. Later, I obtained my diploma in Implantology and further pursued a Master’s degree in Oral Implantology at the Guillermo Marconi University in Rome, Italy. My quest for excellence didn’t stop there—I completed a second Master’s degree in Implantology through the accredited program of the gIDE Institute at Loma Linda University in Los Angeles, USA.

To effectively share the knowledge I have acquired with my dental colleagues, I became an accredited trainer recognized by the Ministry of Labor and Social Solidarity.
Given that 8 out of 10 Romanians experience some form of periodontal (gum) disease, I chose to explore this topic further and completed a Masterclass in periodontal surgery, guided by esteemed experts in the field of global dentistry.
Recognizing that medical education is a continuous journey essential for providing effective and up-to-date treatments, I make it a priority to attend annual courses on current topics related to implantology and laser technology in both specialized and general dentistry, including the Sky Fast & Fixed system.
I am also a speaker at the annual Lite Touch Conference, where I share my expertise on various applications of the Lite Touch Er. Yag Laser in daily dentistry. My presentations encompass a range of topics such as clinical courses on Er. Yag lasers, principles and practical applications in dentistry, and innovative approaches to surgery, implantology, and periodontology, so forth and so on.
For me, the Hippocratic Oath holds profound significance; I view it as a guiding principle in my work. My ultimate goal is to promote health and happiness among my patients, and each smile I help create, brings me a deep sense of fulfilment, in line with our motto: “Smile, Love, Live Deos!”

Is the dental implant procedure painful?
You must know that this procedure is NOT painful, because it is made under local anesthesia and after the intervention you will be given the necessary medication so that the discomfort is kept under control by analgesics.
A Deos Dental laser-assisted implant reduces, therefore, the feeling of discomfort and pain and post-operative inflammation is reduced to a minimum, because our doctors use this revolutionary technique whose benefits are indisputable.
The patient is greatly advantaged by the laser-assisted dental implants, because at the end of the treatment, our doctors apply the laser biostimulation therapy, which determines that the predictability of a positive result is complete and the healing process is faster.
Who is eligible for a dental implant?
Our experienced dental specialists in the Deos Dental network of premium clinics affirm that 99% of the patients who have decided to get a dental implant are eligible for this innovative tooth restoration procedure.
The dental implant is suitable even for the patients with diabetes, whose condition is controlled by insulin treatment, or patients with oncological conditions, in remission. In addition, these categories of patients only require a recommendation from their attending doctor and the related analyzes to certify the stage of their condition, and our specialists will analyze each individual case to perform the most suitable implant procedures.
Does age matter when referring to a Dental Implant?
Dental implants can be an excellent solution for individuals as young as 18 years old, when the jaw has fully developed and growth is complete. However, age is just a number; there is no upper age limit for receiving dental implants. In fact, at Deos Dental Clinics, we have successfully treated patients in their 90s who sought the benefits of dental implants.
How long does it take for the body to recover after a dental implant?
After inserting a laser implant, the body heals quickly thanks to the modern procedure and state-of-the-art dental materials.
A small incision is made in the gum and a hole is made in the bone, and since the bone has no nerves, it has nothing to hurt. The human body easily accepts the dental implant and begins the process of osseointegration, i.e. begins to grow bone on the surface of the dental implant.
Deos Dental premium laser dentistry clinic s use the best categories of dental implants, such as:
• Titanium (Inno, Dentium, Bredent)
• Titanium with Zirconium (Straumann BLX SL Active)
• Non-metallic, integral-Zirconium (Straumann Pure)
What does a patient feel after having a dental implant?
If the patient presents himself to the dentist many years after the loss of the tooth, a computer tomographic radiological investigation will be carried out, there being dozens of options for making a bone graft. For better assimilation of the bone, it is mixed with plasma obtained by centrifugation from the blood taken from the patient himself.
Are there any downsides after getting a dental implant?
There is absolutely no downside. You will practically smile and laugh more often and regain your self-esteem. At the same time, mastication will be performed properly, protecting the temporomandibular joint (TMJ).
What can be done for a patient with dentures?
In the case of a patient who has lost all the teeth on the arch and wears dentures, our dentists, using top materials and technology, succeed in completely restoring the patient’s dentition, through the two methods called all on 4 and all on 6, (known as and as fixed teeth in 24 hours) by which all the teeth of an arch can be restored on 4 or 6 implants.
How long does it take for the gum to recover?
The first step is primary stability (how the implant sits in the insertion). An implant that is stable can be loaded immediately, so the patient can leave the appointment with the tooth in place. It is a temporary tooth and is recommended not to be forced with hard food.
The bone will grow on the surface of the implant in a few months, just like in the case of a fracture in three or four months, the speed of the osseointegration process is determined by diet, age, the percentage of vitamin D in the patient’s body and the type of implant chosen.
Straumann BLX SL ACTIVE implants osseointegrate in two months, versus four months as the standard term.
Dentists at the Deos Dental premium clinics apply immediate crowns in over 90% of cases, also for aesthetic reasons, ensuring that the patient feels comfortable until the implant reaches the optimal level of bone coverage. Our patients leave the same session with temporary teeth because we understand how important self-esteem and good spirits are to an individual. Therefore, patients at Deos Dental do not have to worry about being without teeth for months after an implant, as they receive immediate prosthetics from some of the best dental specialists in the medical field.
Can the dental implant cause problems for the patient over time?
It is scientifically proven that the implant will behave just like the root of a natural tooth.
For this reason, we recommend that, just as in the case of natural teeth, you take care of your oral hygiene, a proper brushing and make an appointment every six months for a professional check-up with the intraoral camera and a medical hygiene, especially because you have invested in having perfect teeth and enjoy full health.
Are dental implants guaranteed for life?
We can tell you that many marketing strategies are used, but it is strictly up to the patient if he takes care of his dental and physical health, through hygiene, mouth shower, correct brushing, sports, healthy diet, but also through periodic visits to the dentist.
The aim of the Deos Dental dentists’ team is to save every tooth, the dental implant being the last resort solution.
We can assure you that our team includes some of the best dentists in the field! We use the best quality implants and materials and making patients happy is our business card, to whom we restore self-confidence and good mood.
