Root Canal Treatment (Endodontics) with Laser-Assisted Microscope
How the dentists at Deos Dental turn a medical procedure into an art form and save teeth?!
Who doesn’t want to have a perfect body and enviable teeth?
But our hectic lifestyle, unhealthy and rushed eating habits, daily stress, urban pollution, lack of hydration, smoking, and lack of exercise can eventually lead us to an undesirable situation where our bodies start to give us warning signs.
All organs of the human body are closely interconnected, and our teeth are no exception. The sum of all the negative effects of our fast-paced lifestyle leads to the multiplication of bacteria, increased plaque build-up, and inevitably, the appearance of cavities.
It’s important to know that a tooth is a living organism, consisting of a crown and a root. Inside the tooth lies the pulp chamber, which contains the nerve and blood vessels that give it vitality.
Root canal treatment (endodontics) involves removing the contents of the root canal (the pulp or a previously improperly treated area), sterilizing the root canal, and sealing it with the goal of saving the tooth and restoring its functionality within the dental arch.

Please meet Dr. Felicia Păduraru
Hello!
I’m Dr. Felicia Păduraru, a passionate dental implantologist, laser expert, and dedicated trainer.
My enthusiasm for life, people, and nature fuels my commitment to dentistry, a profession that allows me to express my talent and make a meaningful impact on my patients’ lives.
With over 11 years of hands-on experience, I have transformed the smiles of more than 2,500 patients and successfully completed over 1,750 arches using cutting-edge laser-assisted dental implants. I specialize in complex periodontal (gum) diseases, having effectively treated more than 1,380 such instances, and I pride myself on achieving outstanding results.
My educational journey began at the esteemed Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest, where I earned my degree in Dental Medicine. Later, I obtained my diploma in Implantology and further pursued a Master’s degree in Oral Implantology at the Guillermo Marconi University in Rome, Italy. My quest for excellence didn’t stop there—I completed a second Master’s degree in Implantology through the accredited program of the gIDE Institute at Loma Linda University in Los Angeles, USA.

To effectively share the knowledge I have acquired with my dental colleagues, I became an accredited trainer recognized by the Ministry of Labor and Social Solidarity.
Given that 8 out of 10 Romanians experience some form of periodontal (gum) disease, I chose to explore this topic further and completed a Masterclass in periodontal surgery, guided by esteemed experts in the field of global dentistry.
Recognizing that medical education is a continuous journey essential for providing effective and up-to-date treatments, I make it a priority to attend annual courses on current topics related to implantology and laser technology in both specialized and general dentistry, including the Sky Fast & Fixed system.
I am also a speaker at the annual Lite Touch Conference, where I share my expertise on various applications of the Lite Touch Er. Yag Laser in daily dentistry. My presentations encompass a range of topics such as clinical courses on Er. Yag lasers, principles and practical applications in dentistry, and innovative approaches to surgery, implantology, and periodontology, so forth and so on.
For me, the Hippocratic Oath holds profound significance; I view it as a guiding principle in my work. My ultimate goal is to promote health and happiness among my patients, and each smile I help create, brings me a deep sense of fulfilment, in line with our motto: “Smile, Love, Live Deos!”

What does a professional and complete endodontic treatment at Deos Dental involve?
A complete laser endodontic treatment includes: anesthesia, followed by cleaning the root canal of the pulp or any previously incorrect endodontic treatment, sterilizing the root canal, which may involve 1, 2, 3, or 4 canals.
Next, the root canal is filled with natural rubber and a sealing paste, which are the most biocompatible materials.
Afterward, the walls of the tooth (which were destroyed by cavities) are restored, and the tooth is reinforced using a fiberglass post.

At the premium laser dentistry clinic Deos Dental, we have treated hundreds of patients affected by this condition, and our dentists inform you that a nerve affected by infection may hurt as it dies—or it may not. When the dead nerve doesn’t cause pain, it can lead to gangrene, which can result in tooth loss without you even feeling any pain.
For this reason, we advise you not to forget about prevention and to schedule appointments at least twice a year at a specialized dental clinic. During a check-up with an intraoral camera and an X-ray, the dentist can detect any condition, regardless of its stage, and quickly take measures to treat it.
How do the Deos Dental dentists treat this condition?
We emphasize, not out of false modesty, that we are the only dental clinic that uses a unique protocol in endodontic treatments, combining the erbium laser with a dental microscope.
This unique protocol for using the erbium laser in endodontic treatments delivers outstanding results and increased benefits for patients, especially in terms of improving the rate of tooth preservation, all without pain or discomfort.
Below are the advantages of using this unique erbium laser protocol:
- Deep decontamination and sterilization of the root canal.
- A bactericidal effect, with a broader spectrum than other laser decontamination methods.
- It significantly reduces the risk of endodontic issues recurring.
- Increased success rate, particularly for conditions that are difficult to treat.
- Quick, efficient, and painless!
It is also important to mention that our dentists use a special biostimulation device connected to the erbium laser. This therapeutic procedure accelerates the metabolic process, stimulates blood flow in the treated area, releases growth factors, aids tissue regeneration, has anti-inflammatory effects, and almost completely eliminates pain.
At the Deos Dental premium laser dentistry clinic, by using this unique protocol with the erbium laser in endodontic treatment, we minimize the time the patient spends in the dental chair. In fact, treatment can often be completed in a single session, all without discomfort or pain for the patient.
Along with the erbium laser, the dentists at Deos Dental also use a dental microscope during endodontic treatment to ensure successful root canal therapy.
Here are some of the most important benefits of using the dental microscope in the endodontic treatment protocol:
- Detailed and Accurate Diagnosis: The dentist can observe both surface details and the internal structure of the tooth, leading to a thorough and accurate diagnosis.
- Precise Cleaning: The microscope allows for the cleaning of cavities and root canals with precision, magnifying the field of view 20 times.
- Enhanced Magnification and Illumination: This allows for the identification of additional canals and treatment of calcified canals.
- Easy Removal of Foreign Bodies: Objects like broken instruments that are not visible to the naked eye can be easily removed.
- Identification of Cracks or Fractures: Sometimes, these are not visible on X-rays and can only be seen with the microscope.
- Rapid Treatment and Healing: Traditional manual methods required long treatment periods, often 4 to 8 sessions of at least one hour each.
With the dental microscope, the entire treatment can be completed in a single session, benefiting the patient.
As highlighted above, the Deos Dental patients benefit greatly from the use of the erbium laser and dental microscope in root canal treatments.
We emphasize that this Deos Dental unique protocol leads to outstanding treatment results and the preservation of many teeth, which our patients can continue to enjoy, all in the most professional manner and, importantly, in just one visit to the clinic and pain-free.
Which are the actual DEOS DENTAL stages for this unique root canal treatment protocol?
Diagnosis and Planning: The treatment begins with a diagnosis, X-rays, and a treatment plan established by a specialist dentist.
Application of Laser and Microscope: At Deos Dental, we apply the treatment method using the laser and medical microscope.
LiteTouch introduces a true technological revolution in conventional dentistry with its versatility and ultra-efficiency in treating both hard and soft tissues. It is an intuitive and easy-to-use instrument that provides optimal precision, unmatched adaptability, and manoeuvrability.
Thanks to its advanced ablation and sub-ablation functions and its antibacterial effect, the LiteTouch laser uses light energy for precise interventions on dental tissues and minimally invasive treatments. It is significantly more effective than traditional methods.
Laser treatment significantly simplifies this procedure through the use of two wavelengths: neodymium and erbium.
- Neodymium Laser: This wavelength penetrates deeply and activates to produce sterilization, making it much safer than traditional methods.
- Erbium Laser: This wavelength helps in removing hard tissues, such as infected tissue (decay) and tartar.
This laser method does not produce a hot ablation, thus avoiding the pain associated with traditional methods and is almost perfect.
We want to emphasize that there are no contraindications for this method, and we invite you to our clinic to demonstrate the professionalism of our dentists and the effectiveness of these cutting-edge technologies.
Here are the steps to achieving a successful endodontic (root canal) treatment:
- Correct and Professional Diagnosis: Clinical and radiological.
- Examination and Treatment with a Microscope.
- Laser Sterilization and Decontamination.
- Endodontic Filling and Sealing: with a dental crown.
After a root canal treatment, to reduce postoperative discomfort, our dentists perform pain therapy using the laser.
At Deos Dental, we restore your confidence, self-esteem, social life, chewing ability, and good mood, all in a DEOS-professional way.
